About
Hi, I’m Amy.
Hi, I’m Amy Kyi Rattazzi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing compassionate, collaborative teletherapy to children, adolescents, and adults throughout California.
My background
Growing up in the Bay Area has shaped my interest in how culture, family, identity, and relationships influence the way we understand ourselves and navigate the world.
I received my graduate degree in social work from the University of Washington before returning to California, where I spent nearly a decade working at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health and By the Bay Health. Through my work in pediatric care, medical social work, and bereavement counseling, I’ve supported individuals and families through complex medical experiences, grief and loss, fertility and reproductive challenges, and significant life transitions.

What to expect in our work together
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe enough to show up as you are, including the parts of yourself that feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or difficult to share. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that our experiences are shaped by more than our individual circumstances. Our relationships, cultural identities, family histories, and the expectations we carry all influence how we navigate the world.
In our work together, we’ll make space for your emotions and experiences without judgment, explore patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop tools to help you navigate life’s challenges. My hope is to help you better understand yourself, build trust in your own experiences, and discover ways forward that feel meaningful and aligned with what matters most to you.
I recognize that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. My goal is to offer an inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed space where you feel understood and supported as we work toward greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and connection to yourself and the life you want to build.
A space where you feel safe enough to show up as you are.
