I’m a private-pay practice. All sessions are held by secure video for clients anywhere in California. If your plan offers out-of-network benefits, you may be able to get part of the cost reimbursed.
Questions people often ask
How much does a session cost?
Sessions are $200 for 50 minutes.
Do you take insurance?
I’m a private-pay practice, which means you pay for sessions directly rather than through an insurance plan. Private pay keeps your care between you and me, without a diagnosis being required for insurance billing, and lets us decide together what you need and for how long.
Can I use out-of-network benefits?
Some insurance plans, often PPO plans, reimburse part of the cost of seeing an out-of-network therapist. Coverage varies a lot, so it’s worth calling your insurer and asking about out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits, your deductible, and how to submit a claim.
How long is a session?
Sessions are 50 minutes.
Is therapy online?
Yes. All sessions are held by secure video, so you can meet from home or anywhere private in California. I don’t have a physical office.
Who do you work with?
I work with adults, adolescents and children who live in California. Common reasons people reach out include grief and loss, fertility and family planning, the perinatal and postpartum period, cultural identity and family expectations, and life transitions.
Do I need to be in California?
Yes. I’m licensed in California, so you need to be physically located in California at the time of each session.
